Q. What are the MA. Real Estate Salesperson's license requirements?
A. You must be 18 years old/of good moral character. You must complete our state certified 26 hour, 13 two hour module salesperson's license course and pass the state exam. Q. What are the MA. Real Estate Broker's license requirements?
A. You must first be a licensed salesperson. You also must have been currently, actively associated with a real estate broker for a minimum of 1 year. You must complete our state certified 32 hour, 16 two hour module real estate broker's license course and pass the state examination. Tuition $319 includes the very best Exam Textbook available, MA.License Law and Regulations Handbook, Candidate Handbook and Education Certification!
Q. What are the MA. Mandatory continuing education requirements?
A. In order to maintain your brokers or salespersons license, state law requires that you must complete a 12 hour, 6 two hour module course every 2 years. There is no state examination. The tuition is $179 or $20 per hour.
Q. When and where are the state exams offered?
A. The Massachusetts ASI state exams for the salesperson's or broker's license are held Tuesday through Saturday in Boston & North Dartmouth, Thursday through Saturday in Springfield and Saturdays in Lowell. You will take the state exam on a lap top computer and you receive your real estate license right at the testing center!
Q. What does it cost to take the MA. State exam?
A. The cost to ASI Testing Service to take the salesperson's state exam is $98 and $110 for the broker's exam. Once completed, your course certification is valid for 2 years. The MA. state exam is a multiple choice exam. The general section = 80 questions. The state section = 35 questions. The passing score is 70%.
Q. Can I make my own class schedule?
A. Yes, each class is a 2 hour module that covers a separate topic. There is no sequence to the course. You can mix and match the classes, as long as you complete the state required hours. Take the course as quickly or as slowly as you choose. We have the most flexible license school schedule in the state! If you decide to take a live class, once a week it will take you over 2 months to become a licensed real estate agent! We offer convenience!
